I have over 15 years coaching both boys and girls basketball as well as a 17 year veteran basketball official. I had the opportunity to play collegiately as well as semi pro in the USBL and EuroLeague. As a coach I have assisted in over 100 young athletes receiving scholarships to continue their playing careers. I pride myself in not just teaching the game of basketball but also teaching athletes the game of Life.
Vince Brooks is a graduate of Southwood HS (Wabash, IN) & Indiana University (Bloomington, IN). He is a teacher at Westfield Middle School and a boys basketball coach at Westfield High School. In his 15+ years of experience, Vince has also coached at Goshen HS, Lebanon HS, and Rosslyn Academy in Nariobi, Kenya.
Austin Brengle is 27 years old, and from Westfield, IN. He started his coaching career with the Northside Spartans AAU program, where he coached 8th/9th grade for two seasons. He then took a position at Westfield High School as a teacher and basketball coach. He is currently in his fourth season coaching the junior varsity team at Westfield.
Jamares McCloud, Head Coach for Grand Park Premier 2021 Black, former basketball standout at Noblesville High School. Coach Jam was apart of the 2010 Noblesville High School Boys Basketball Sectional title team. After playing two years of Varsity Basketball at Noblesville went on to play basketball at Anderson University for 2 years. At Anderson University appeared in 30 games, after playing career ended at Anderson University went on to coach at Shenandoah High School. Spent two years coaching at Shenandoah as a varsity assistant coach and one year as the JV Head Coach at Shenandoah. Currently coaching at Anderson High School as varsity assistant/player development coach.
Dustin has spent a large portion of his life in a gym and around the game of basketball. Whether he was playing the game or coaching the game, the level of commitment to the sport has remained.
Dustin grew up in Kokomo, Indiana where he attended Northwestern High School. While at Northwestern his teams won two Sectional titles, and a Regional title. Dustin then continued his basketball career at Joliet Junior College where he still holds the school record for assists with 647 over two years. In 2000 at JJC he was also named Conference Player of the Year. After two seasons at JJC ,Dustin moved on to play at Arkansas Tech University. During his stint at ATU he had a great impact on the game; he is still the only player to have a triple double, and ranks 8th in school history for assists in only 2 years of playing. Upon graduating Dustin went into sales and spent 15 years in the field. In that time he continued to play in men’s leagues, coach youth sports as well as high school sports. While living in Arkansas he was a boys and girls high school assistant at Bismarck High School.
Through a series of events and some health issues, Dustin moved back to Indiana to be near his family. Since being back in Indiana he has inundated himself with basketball. Dustin has been an assistant at Westfield High School, he ran the Westfield Boys Travel Program for four years and is coaching the Grand Park Premier 2022 Red team.
Dustin has two sons, Braden and Maddox, with his wife Ginny. When he’s not in the gym he loves to travel with his family and friends.
Coach Van Den Berg has been coaching basketball in central Indiana for the last 15 years. He spent 7 years coaching at Carmel High School and is currently in his third year on the staff at University High School. He helped found Indiana Primetime Basketball and has coached teams in grades 1-9 in the Primetime program. Coach Van Den Berg is a full time elementary teacher at Oak Trace in Westfield and enjoys spending time with his wife Amber and two children, Avery and Tyson.

Jake Hinson, 8th season coaching, 2nd season with Grand Park Premier. Jake has been a Varsity assistant, JV and Freshmen coach at some of the top high programs in the state including Marion, Zionsville and Alexandria. Jake has trained a handful of athletes that have increased their skill level through his dedication to player development that have went on to succeed at the Division 1 level.
Coach Shaun Busick just finished his 12th season as Varsity coach at Zionsville Community High School and his 25th Varsity season overall. At Zionsville, Coach Busick has compiled a 183-89 overall record, which includes four Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championships and one Sectional title. For his career, Coach Busick has won 358 games, which includes eight conference titles, six sectional titles, one regional title, one semi-state title, and his 2004 Bellmont Braves were the 3A state runners-up. Coach Busick is a graduate of Grace College and has been married to his wife Cathy for 30 years. They are the proud parents of their son, Drew, who is a member of the GPP 2024 Red team.
Coach Bartee is originally from Clarksville, Tennessee where he graduated from Rossview High School (RHS). As a player for RHS, he was a 2-time All-District selection. Coach Bartee also helped lead his high school team in achieving its best basketball record with 24 wins and 6 losses. Coach Bartee led his team by averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds a game.
Bartee graduated from the University of Indianapolis, where he played collegiate basketball and also studied Sports Management.
Coach Bartee is credible in the sports industry athletically, academically and professionally. Bartee has been fortunate enough to gain networks and do work for the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever in their Marketing – Game Operations department. Bartee has also served as an assistant varsity basketball coach for University High school since 2013.
Coach Bartee is excited to join Grand Park Premier. He brings with him a great deal of basketball development and fundamentals beneficial for Grand Park Premier athletes. He plans to develop players athletically and fundamentally with hopes to help assist them in taking their individual basketball careers to the next level.
Coach Wells grew up in the Indianapolis area where he attended St. Rita’s Catholic school as a youth. He began playing basketball in the sixth grade and went on to play on the varsity team at North Central High school who at that time was ranked #1 in Indiana and #10 in the nation. Coach Wells received a scholarship to play for Polk Community College in Winter Haven, Florida where he played for two years before transferring to Ball State University to complete his Bachelor Degree in Business Management and Counseling Psychology. Coach Wells is an entrepreneur and business owner who owns a chain of cell phone stores in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas but coaching is his passion. Coach Wells has been coaching youth basketball for over 10 years in the Indy area and excited to help young athletes achieve their goals.
Coach Craig has been coaching youth basketball for over two decades. He has coached ages ranging from kindergarten all the way up to high school. Coach Craig is the head coach of the Grand Park 2026 ThunderCats. This team is known as one of the most successful and competitive teams in the class of 2026 and have won several tournaments and league championships. His goal is to not only teach the game of basketball but to prepare his players to be successful in the game of life as well.
Raised in Muncie, IN. Attended Muncie Central HS and went on to play basketball at NAIA DII Taylor University Ft. Wayne. Jay was a 4 year letter winner and 3 year starter under NCCAA Championship head coach Bud Hamilton. Jay returned to Muncie and was hired to the Muncie Central Bearcats staff by the late Indiana Basketball HOF coach Bill Harrell when he returned to Muncie Central at the end of his coaching days. He loves coaching and teaching the game of basketball and has been doing it for over 15 years. He is married to his wife Amy and has a daughter, Hallie (14), and two sons, Quinn (11) and Klein (8).
Shane Sumpter is now in his 4thseason as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Westfield High School. Sumpter has helped guide the ROCKS to several marquee wins while the program continues to gain great respect across the state.
Prior to becoming the boys coach, Sumpter spent 7 years at the helm of the girls program where he lead the Lady Rocks to two sectional titles and a combined record of 137-46. Sumpter was selected Indy North Coach of the Year in 2010, and ICGSA District 3 Coach of the Year in 2013.
Before coming to Westfield Sumpter spent 6 years as a boys assistant coach at Anderson High School. In his tenure coaching at the Anderson Wigwam, Sumpter helped guide the tribe to a combined six year record of 104-35, two NCC, a sectional, and a Hall of Fame Championship.
Shane Sumpter is a graduate of Frankton High School and Anderson University. Sumpter and his wife, Stephanie, have two children: Emma (14), and Logan (10).
